Kalil was born in Brazil Belém and grow up observing his father creating art every day in the Amazonas. He first studied Architecture and Urbanism at the University of Amazonia, followed by Art Direction at the Belas Artes University in São Paulo. He decided to come to Europe and moved to Lisbon in the year 2019 working for a local architect company. He soon realised that he needs to discover his passion for painting further and subscribed for the Master program at the Lisbon Belas Artes University. Here he created exhibitions „Tupi ink“ with his first signature style – black and white which represents the digitally 0 1 of the present world pressing/pushing into our daily life.

Following the first exhibitions in Lisbon Kalil worked constantly in between mediums. He explored Wall-Art, Performance, Bodypaint, Sculptures, Fashion, digital Art and Sound.
His visual arts project seeks to shape the collective unconscious that has materialised on the Internet with the constant exchange of information between users from all over the world. Through plastic production, the digital universe and the mass of information that our society has created are created and inserted in different media to bring contemporary social issues to the public.
